A short, hand-vetted list of agents we trust — not a directory of everyone who'll take the listing.
Selling a home later in life is rarely just a transaction. Often it means letting go of the family home to move into an aged care facility, or selling on behalf of a parent so the proceeds can be shared fairly among family. Both are emotional, and both come with pressure to move quickly, sign things under stress, or trust whoever knocked on the door first.
A good agent understands that. They explain the process in plain language, don't rush a decision that deserves time, and treat everyone involved — the seller, and the family helping them — with patience and respect. A pushy agent chasing the fastest sale is the last thing anyone needs during a transition like this.
Agents on this list aren't here because they're the biggest name or pay the best referral. They're here because of three things: integrity in how they deal with people, genuine social and interpersonal care for an older client or a family under strain, and professionalism in how the sale is actually run. We're starting small and deliberately — two agencies we're confident meet that bar — and will only add more, in other states, once we're just as confident about them.
Outside these areas? We're working on it — agents in other states will be added here as we find ones that meet the same standard.
